From Doran's Krug to Tom the cat: breaking down T1's Worlds 2025 skins

Riot Games has revealed T1's 2025 World Championship skins, celebrating the organisation's historic third straight Worlds title. The six skins go live on patch 26.14 on July 15, with each member of the winning roster honouring one of their picks — and Finals MVP Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong receiving a second, Prestige skin.
The lineup is Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon on Ambessa, Moon "Oner" Hyeon-jun on Xin Zhao, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok on Galio, Ryu "Keria" Min-seok on Seraphine, and Gumayusi on Yunara, plus his Prestige Miss Fortune. The whole set is built around an "Ascended Warriors" concept, picturing the players as competitors who fought their way to the summit before What makes it special, though, is the density of personal references woven into each skin. , the players were involved from the earliest planning stages, shaping both the creative direction and the finer details.
Doran's Ambessa is the most talked-about of the bunch. His face appears on the ground when Ambessa lands her ultimate, the recall pulls out the three starter items — Doran's Blade, Doran's Shield and Doran's Ring — and a Krug appears behind him, a wink at the moment he infamously died to the jungle camp during the Road to MSI. Per XportsNews, Doran asked for a lion's mane hairstyle, dark clothing and an intense red glow on the weapons, and the recall was his own idea. One request did not make the cut: his suggestion to make Ambessa look younger was turned down to preserve the champion's identity.
Oner's Xin Zhao: a nod to past titles

Oner's Xin Zhao keeps things subtle. The recall is a tribute to his title history, using weapons tied to champions he won previous Worldson — Lee Sin's kick, Poppy's hammer and Pantheon's spear — to shatter an orb, while a tiger's head totem nods to his medallion. His requests were relatively simple: a jacket-style cape and red weaponry. The T1 jacket that appears at the end of his recall was added at his request during feedback.
Faker's Galio: six stars for six titles

Faker's Galio leans into T1's gold. The recall has six stars orbiting him — one for each of his six Worlds titles — as he ascends into space and the earth shrinks below, before a T1 logo stamps into the ground when he lands. He asked for the team's gold to feature heavily and for symbolic detail from wing to tail, so the developers scrapped Galio's split wings and built a single, integrated wing shape evoking the T1 logo.
Gumayusi's Yunara: butterflies and good luck

Gumayusi's Yunara hides several easter eggs. His face appears beneath Yunara's feet doing his signature pose when she ults, and a blue butterfly shows up in the recall — a callback to a butterfly that appeared on stage during a Worlds 2024 interview, when he said the team might be about to have some good luck. The skin itself has a backstory: designer Max Perlman once said Yunara suited Gumayusi's playstyle perfectly, and the pick was also chosen as a reply to that. Inside Yunara's weapon orb sits T1 mascot Ati, whose expression shifts between bright, mischievous and fierce across the animations.
Gumayusi's Prestige Miss Fortune: a Worlds FMVP's journey in one skin

His Prestige Miss Fortune, a Mythic-tier skin, is built around his career. Her passive, which marks enemies hit by an auto-attack, references the Finals MVP trophy directly. Riot created three different gun sets for T1's three title years — 2023, 2024 and 2025 — swapping them in whenever the ultimate is used. A Baron doll appears in one animation, a nod to his famous Baron steal in 2022, and the recall runs through career-defining moments — dodging Kalista spears against Weibo Gaming in 2023, Ashe arrows against Bilibili Gaming in 2024, shooting down Ziggs bombs against KT Rolster in 2025 — before ending with Gumayusi lifting the FMVP trophy.
Keria's Seraphine: hand-drawn down to the detail

Keria's Seraphine is the most hand-crafted of all. The support asked for something cute and beautiful rather than rugged and serious, with Seraphine's cheek marking redesigned into a "K" for his own initial. The developers built wings that move organically with her in-game animations, paired with the voluminous hairstyle Keria wanted. The recall realises his own idea: Seraphine performing in a T1 uniform on a large LED stage. The screen close-up and the move where she throws off her jacket reference Keria during Game 5 against Anyone's Legend at Worlds 2025, when he removed his own jacket during the game. To pull the sequence off, concept artistshand-drew between twelve and sixteen frames of 2D animation.
Beyond the champions: Nexus effect and a coach's ward

The set goes further than the six skins. The Nexus destruction effect celebrates all six of T1's titles, with a final crown, championship stars and jewels glittering as it falls, paired with crowd and fan cheers baked into the sound to capture the live esports feel.

There is also a tribute ward for the coaching staff. In the same spirit as the earlier kkOma ward honouring Kim Jeong-gyun, this one celebrates T1 coach Im "Tom" Jae-hyun with a "Magical Cat Strategist" ward that reimagines his hairstyle and headset as a cat. The ward shows the cat flipping through a book, with a hidden easter egg: Dr. Mundo's face appears as the pages turn — a playful callback to the moment Tom told Oner to play the champion and the jungler sat reading up on him.
Thirty percent of the skin line's revenue will be distributed to the players and teams as part of the esports revenue-sharing model. The skins are already on the PBE for testing ahead of their live release.
