
The LPL has announced disciplinary action against Chen “Bin” Zebin, toplaner for Bilibili Gaming, following an incident during an LPL match on June 3.
According to the league, Bin failed to meet his on-stage interaction obligations, behavior deemed contrary to the professional standards expected of LPL players. The league’s investigation concluded that the incident disrupted the proper running of the competition and negatively affected the audience experience.
As a result, Bin has been fined 150,000 RMB (around 22K$), received a public reprimand, and has been ordered to attend relevant professional conduct training. Bilibili Gaming also been fined 50,000 RMB (7300$) and issued a public reprimand, with the league citing the club’s failure to properly supervise and manage its players before the match.
In its statement, the LPL reminded teams of their responsibility to maintain strict oversight of players, both on and off stage. The league said it aims to uphold higher standards of respect, professionalism, and competitive integrity across the competition.
